Positive health, dignity, and prevention [PHDP] is evidence based intervention that helps people living with HIV live a fulfilling and healthy life and reduce the risk of transmission of the virus to others. PHDP is characterized by its systematic delivery of a range of combination, behavioural and socio-cultural services within clinical and community settings.

SWOP-Kenya has trained HIV positive peer educators on delivering PHDP messages that include disclosure of HIVstatus, partner/family testing and engagement, condom use, family planning, STIs, treatment and adherence and prevention of GBV. More emphasis is often placed on community service delivery.
